Requirements for Membership

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization exclusively for men.

You must be of legal age to join.

✓ Believe in a Supreme Being

Faith in God is a fundamental requirement of Freemasonry.

✓ Be of Good Character

Live an upright life and come well-recommended.

The Petition Process

  1. Get to Know Us: Attend one of our open events or speak with a member of our lodge.
  2. Submit a Petition: Complete a petition for membership with the sponsorship of two lodge members.
  3. Investigation: A committee will meet with you to learn about your character and motivations.
  4. Vote: The lodge membership votes on your petition.
  5. Degrees: Upon acceptance, you will receive the three degrees of Masonry through memorable ceremonies.
